Next, charts help bring the data to life and lets us easily understand the story behind the wall of data we receive from the export. A line chart can visualize booking trends over time, while a bar chart might compare peak rooms contracted across different states. We could also use this MINT+ data to better understand the meetings that are coming out of competitive set cities. Create a visualization to see where organizations that meet in your competitive set cities are found (or market segments of those organizations). If you know a little bit of coding, you can push this even further by automating these processes.
- Example: You are based in Missouri and look up all the meetings that have met in Missouri that MINT+ knows about and then create a graph that shows the count of what states those organizations are located in. See the visualization below.
