Visit Gatlinburg leans on Visit Widget — an advanced, cross-device application that creates an engaging and intuitive way for travelers to research, plan, and experience their visits. 

Since launching its new Visit Widget app in mid-January 2024, Visit Gatlinburg reported the following results:

  • Over 21,000 downloads 
  • 841 check-ins with 23 completed challenges for “Pancake Week”
  • Over 4,000 vacation guide requests and downloads via the app 
  • App performance over previous mobile application:
    • Total users increased 394%
    • New users increased 197%
    • Pageviews increased 223%
  • Seven new trails have been created and more are in progress
