Visit Keweenaw, formerly the Keweenaw Convention & Visitors Bureau, launched a new destination brand and website to assist travelers planning vacations to Houghton and Keweenaw Counties. With the new brand comes a new website that generates more than 600,000 annual visitors and will genuinely represent the quality of the destination and the experiences the Keweenaw has to offer.
“We are really excited to launch our new website to promote the Keweenaw Peninsula as a world-class outdoor recreation destination,” said Brad Barnett, executive director at Visit Keweenaw. “It was important to us that the site’s design truly reflected the beauty of the Keweenaw and that it surpassed expectations for mobile user experiences. Working with the Simpleview team, we were able to bring these goals to life despite our organization having little in-house technical capacity in website development.” Take a look for yourself — it doesn't disappoint.
Back and better than ever! That’s right, Surf City USA chose Simpleview to redesign once again. The newly renovated signature site comes equipped with brand functionality and smooth-wave transitions. (See what we did there?) The website took the DMO’s 2013 update and transitioned it to a 2022 vision of aquatic delights that catch the eye of the consumer. Highlighting the beaches, the surf, and all the destination has to offer, Surf City USA has taken to the water with a custom map, a booking widget, and a sitemap that allows visitors to find exactly what they are looking for.
It is the little things that contribute to the new re-designs’s success on this site; you’ll find surfing and beach inspiration in the form of surfer icons and imagery throughout the website, as well as discover traveler visuals by way of social media and the #BeHere social campaign. The brand is fully tied together not only as a destination, but the DMO has trusted Simpleview to help be its sounding board for CMS, CRM, DTN, Crowdriff, and more.
