Leveraging data science through pattern matching, the first iteration of recommended meeting profiles is available for MINT+ subscribers. It’s similar to how Netflix makes recommendations: because you booked meetings like these in the past, you might want to consider these recommended meetings for future solicitation.

The recommendations are unique to each destination marketing organization (DMO) and identified based on its unique historical booking patterns. Users can then sort the recommendations by key market classification, region, or size.

Subscribers' feedback is an essential part of the process. The more subscribers accept or reject the recommended meeting profiles, the more intuitive (and thus stronger) the recommended meetings functionality becomes.

Furthermore, the DMOs ongoing data sharing of definite bookings also contributes to the strength of the recommendations. Overall, the more you respond to the recommendations and continue to share your definite bookings through MINT+ automated reporting, the more efficiently the tool can support your prospecting efforts.

Query builder is still in place for any subscriber to create their own list of meeting possibilities based on a wide range of criteria about the organization, meeting location or meeting preferences, but applying data science technology in MINT+ is exciting and an industry first we are looking forward to building upon as MINT+ transformation continues.
