Thanks to the launch of its new website, Visit Belfast — the destination marketing organization (DMO) that represents Northern Ireland’s capital — can offer visitors authentic experiences, allowing them a true feel for the city and all its many sides.
The new site launched in August 2025 features a design that emphasises the DMO’s social content and leverages the platform’s dynamic content functionality to ensure every user — and thereby every visitor — has a unique experience when planning their next trip to Belfast.
Commenting on the launch of their new site, the team at Visit Belfast explain, “Our goal was to reimagine what a destination website can be — not just a place to plan a trip, but an immersive extension of the city itself. Working in partnership with Simpleview, a Granicus company, we’ve combined deep industry insight with a social-first approach to create a platform that feels as dynamic and engaging as the content our visitors consume every day.”
They add, “By weaving TikTok and Instagram Reels-style storytelling into the very fabric of the site, we’re offering a one-of-a-kind experience that mirrors how travellers are now inspired — through authentic, visual, and emotionally resonant moments that move seamlessly from discovery to booking.”
