Rich Reasons has been "in" travel and tourism his whole life. His parents whisked him around the world as a child (a tradition he and his wife are carrying on with their children), and he naturally gravitated to travel and tourism as a career, ultimately founding Zephyr Marketing and cvbTV, which specialized in destination marketing and merged with Simpleview in 2001.
As an advocate for online marketing more than 20 years ago, Rich was a pioneer in digital development for travel and tourism, working early-on with groups like Busch Gardens, the California Division of Tourism, Continental Airlines, Florida's Space Coast, American Express and dozens of DMOs across the country at both the city and state levels.

Today, Rich works closely with Simpleview's new business development and account services groups and the rest of the executive leadership team to help build and maintain strong relationships throughout the industry.
As a member of the DMAI Business Advisory Council, US Travel Association Board Circle, ICCA Board of Directors, and the Meetings Mean Business Board, he continues to advocate for the power and influence of DMOs as critical players in the travel planning process. It's technically his life's work, but as he explains, "The greatest testament to my colleagues at Simpleview and across this industry is that my job never feels like 'work' — it's just a natural extension of something I love."
