Traveling to Norway was definitely one of our more memorable travel experiences. While on-site, we had the opportunity to stay in downtown Oslo for about 5 days getting to know the city, visiting the kings castle, eating in 5 star restaurants with the best seafood we've ever tasted, climbing to the top of the Olympic ski jump and viewing ancient Viking vessels! This city has so much to offer, we didn't mind that half the day was actually night. Touring around this country in the winter, means you have more darkness than light and so you get used to feeling a little turned around in regards to your internal clocks. The country has so much to offer  the visitor and you can really create a trip for any style of interest. We were so excited to get to experience the uniqueness that is Norway and the Simpleview team really collaborated the best ways to build their website.

Discovery Phase

On-site in Norway

Waking up at 7 am to a dusky sky and by 3 pm total darkness was definitely a transition for us but with all the great things we got to experience it didn't matter if it was dark or light! From cruising through the fjords on the Hurtigruten, to visiting a bar made of ice, to dog sledding in Tromso, we had a blast!

Norway Listings

Listings and TripAdvisor

When traveling abroad, TripAdvisor is your best resource and Norway wanted to help you pick where to stay based off the best TripAdvisor ratings. We came up with a great way to organize listings on ratings as well as featured properties.

Norway Search

Dynamic Search

The Dynamic Search Field was developed specifically for Norway. With such a large collection of content, we wanted to come up with a way to guide the user by suggesting items as they type. See in this picture, when you type in the work Oslo, Oslo related items begin to appear below the field.
