Oklahoma City Convention and Visitors Bureau


The launch of the website in 2011 gave travelers a site that was not only more visually appealing, but also easier to navigate. At the same time, the site itself and much of the data that populates it are easier to update using Simpleview CMS and Simpleview CRM, the only integrated CMS and CRM in destination marketing.

In 2011, Oklahoma City Convention and Visitors Bureau wanted a feature-rich website that conveyed the true essence of Oklahoma City. Planning and design for the new site focused on Oklahoma City's rich Western heritage, small-town hospitality and modern, urban elements.

At the same time, the development team took special care to create a site that could be easily updated, thus overcoming a stale-content issue that had kept the site from reaching its full traffic potential. Analyzing traffic to the new site showed a 53% increase in unique visits from December 2011 to July 2012, indicating the success of the new design and a much more active site administration.
