With a new brand campaign and an exciting new website concept, VisitGreenvilleSC sought a partner to realize their vision of a seamless social media integration. The resulting Social Photo Import Plugin allowed them to curate and incorporate rich, user-generated content on their site, significantly boosting visitor engagement.

VisitGreenvilleSC's goals following a website redesign included increased web traffic and higher social media engagement. Ultimately, VisitGreenvilleSC decided to build an interactive, immersive, Social Media Photo Plugin to achieve these goals. Partner ads and social posts were displayed across tile and slider widgets showcasing user generated content.

To promote its new brand and website, VisitGreenvilleSC launched a special campaign using the hashtag #yeahthatgreenville. In April of 2014, visitors and residents had used the tag more than 15,000 times and at a rate growing by approximately 1000 new tags per month. By July of 2015, Instagram alone has generated over 127,000 uses of the hashtag.

The end results far surpassed VisitGreenvilleSC's goals. In addition to a 300% increase in inquiries, an 83% boost in web traffic and 57% more public relations activity, VisitGreenvilleSC's new site earned regional and state recognition for its rich, daily-changing user-generated content.
