Soon to be featured in the nationwide "Pure Michigan" ad campaign, Great Lakes Bay Regional CVB sought a fully responsive website that brought all of the most prominent elements of the destination to the foreground, while remaining in line with its new marketing initiative.
Using creative feedback from Great Lakes Bay Regional CVB, the Simpleview team was able to create a fully customized user experience for the destination. The new website included an unobtrusive social fly-out that kept the homepage free of clutter, as well as top navigation that incorporated iconography along with clever copy.
One of the most notable features was the fully customizable language search tailored to the destination. "We now have the ability to add and refine categories, each with a distinct contextual title as we see fit," said Lindsay Gilbert, Digital & Print Marketing Manager. "The tool is a simple addition that creates a sense of exploration and discovery."
In the end, the fully responsive gogreat.com launched in time for the debut of the "Pure Michigan" ad and really showcased the pure beauty of Great Lakes Bay.
