Awards recognize excellence in three destination marketing organization (DMO) websites

TUCSON, March 5 — Simpleview clients scored three awards for websites judged in the 2010 ADDYs; competition in Tucson, each created through close collaboration with Simpleview's creative team and powered by the company's content management system, Simpleview CMS.

The Power of Partnering

"These sites are a great indicator of our approach to partnering with DMOs," said Maria DelVecchio, who recently joined the company as creative director. "One of the most important stages of our process is collaborating with clients to fully understand the outstanding work they've done in branding and creating an identity around their destinations and then helping them extend that work strategically into the online space."

Excellence in Design and Communication

Three websites were honored in this round of competition:

  • Huntsville/Madison County Convention and Visitors Bureau (Silver): a classic, beautiful design that plays to this destinations cultural and historic strengths.
  • Mississippi Gulf Coast Convention and Visitors Bureau (Bronze): a fresh, bright look at recreation and relaxation in this vacation destination on the Gulf of Mexico.
  • Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau (Bronze): a bold approach designed to advance the contemporary rebranding the famous region's wide range of activities.

The Creative Side of simpleview

"A lot of people in the CVB and destination marketing industry think of simpleview as a technology company because of our CRM and CMS products, but just like our Hermes or Adrian awards, this demonstrates another side of Simpleview," said company president Rich Reasons, referring to awards conveyed by the International Academy of Visual Arts and the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International in 2009. "We offer a complete solution, and this level of creative is a major part of that formula."
