TUCSON, Ariz. (December 2018) - Simpleview – the global destination marketing industry’s leading provider of CRM, CMS, website design, digital marketing, revenue generation, and mobile technologies – has acquired JackRabbit Systems, a tourism-focused software company that supports the travel industry, world-class brands and leading events across the globe.

“Simpleview’s motivation to acquire JackRabbit Systems is rooted in delivering a superior end-user experience,” said Simpleview CEO Ryan George. “Our ability to fully integrate our digital stack with well-known industry products such as Book>Direct and Zerista bodes well for destination marketing organizations and meeting planners, as well as the destination visitors and meeting attendees they serve, respectively. We’re excited about this potential and the myriad skills and talent JackRabbit Systems’ entire staff brings to Simpleview.”

With Book>Direct, a booking referral engine that can be embedded directly on a DMO’s website, Simpleview can provide destination visitors with the rates and availability content they’re looking for. Simpleview can then leverage this content to drive referrals directly to in-market partners, thus enabling these hotels to bypass booking commissions and provide DMOs with valuable outbound referral tracking and conversion data.

Zerista is a meeting planning platform that delivers the most comprehensive, customizable and intuitive event app in the industry for meetings and events. With the acquisition, Simpleview can build upon the platform by delivering a plethora of custom content for local destinations, therefore providing new opportunities to support meeting planners and market their destinations.

Simpleview will add approximately 135 new DMO clients with the move, expanding its customer base to more than 900 destinations, including nearly all the top-tier meetings and leisure destinations in the North America and many top destinations around the world.

All 40+ employees working with JackRabbit Systems have joined the Simpleview team and continue in their existing roles, ensuring a seamless continuity of service for customers. During this time, they will cross-train on Simpleview products, services and support. JRS will maintain operations of the new Simpleview offices in Santa Fe, New Mexico and Denver, Colorado.
