According to reports coming from the Providence Warwick Convention and Visitors Bureau, hotel occupancy for June 2012 was at 81.4 percent. This marks the first time occupancy has risen above 80 percent since October 2004.

Martha Sheridan, President and CEO of the CVB, said large conventions and sporting events are prompting more people to visit Rhode Island's largest city.  She and the bureau also released similarly positive statistics, as hotel occupancy for the first six months of 2012 was up five percent over the same period in 2011.

As the Providence Warwick CVB is a valued Simpleview client, we are excited by their findings and wish them continued success.
