July 6, 2010, ORLANDO, Fla.; TUCSON, Ariz. - The Orlando/Orange County Convention & Visitors Bureau, Inc. (Orlando/Orange County CVB) has selected Tucson-based Simpleview, Inc. to redesign its destination website VisitOrlando.com, which offers tools and information to visitors from around the world.

"We rely heavily on our website not only to attract visitors to Orlando, but also give them a better travel experience before, during and after their trip," said Gary Sain, president and CEO of the Orlando/Orange County CVB. "After a thorough RFP process, we believe that Simpleview is clearly the best company to help us communicate our message, drive overnight visitation and deliver value to our visitors."

The new site will be built on the Simpleview CMS platform, which is created around the distinct needs of destination marketing organizations, and will reflect consumer research conducted by the Orlando/Orange County CVB combined with insights drawn from Simpleview's work with more than 140 U.S. and international destinations. The redesign began in May with intensive hands-on planning sessions that included project leaders and key players from both organizations.

"We're honored and excited to be working with one of the world's top leisure and meeting destinations and to play our part in serving the more than 45 million visitors that Orlando welcomes every year," said Simpleview CEO Ryan George.

The new website for the Orlando/Orange County CVB is scheduled for launch in early 2011.
