Simpleview launched a number of new and redesigned sites in the third quarter of 2010:

Learn about some highlights of each project below.

Charlottesville Albemarle Convention & Visitors Bureau
The CACVB home page features not one but two slider widgets highlighting events and historic sites, plus our first integration with the hotel booking engine for Hotelicopter.

Clicking the center of the page retracts the default view to reveal destination highlights underneath.

Our drag-and-drop Itinerary Builder (here called "Trip Builder") makes it a snap to add and reshuffle events, restaurants, tours, shops, museums and more.

Experience Grand Rapids
Big, bold images showcase the arts, industry and lakeside luxury of Grand Rapids as a cosmopolitan city.

"The Lounge" tab at the bottom brings up a mini-screen goldmine of social media, with tweets, Facebook posts, Flickr photos, podcasts and YouTube videos -- just click the cans to switch from one to the next.

A "Hot Dates" page, our Facilities Finder tool and our RFP Builder make it easier to work with meeting planners.

Film Ventura of the Ventura Visitors & Convention Bureau
Designed for the film industry and film lovers, this site builds on the site we created for the Ventura Visitors & Convention Bureau to showcase all that Ventura has to offer to the world of television and cinema.

The Locations Search tool gives producers and film, commercial and television crews an easy way to find just the right locations to scout, from farms to art studios.

Gwinnett Convention & Visitors Bureau (Gwinnett County, Atlanta)
The redesigned Gwinnett County website showcases the sports and outdoor adventures that wait in the metropolitan Atlanta area's "most family-friendly" destination.

Rollover mega-menus make it easy to find exactly what you're looking for.

A special three-way slider on the home page lets visitors quickly take in special offers, things to do and local restaurants.

Madison Area Sports Commission of the Greater Madison Convention & Visitors Bureau
As an addition to the main site developed for GMCVB, this site provides detailed info on venues, a RFP builder plus our Calendar of Events module provide tools and info for coaches, event planners and sports fans alike.

Midlands Authority for Conventions, Sports and Tourism (Columbia, S.C.)
The redesign for Midlands Authority was really a mega-launch of three inter-related sites that helped drive a revamp and update of our multi-site content management tools, allowing DMO staff to easily maintain multiple sites via one implementation of simpleview CMS.

The site also features a new amenities search, along with corresponding admin tools in simpleview CMS, and a custom "Meet the Team" widget that automatically pulls data from designated contacts categories in simpleview CRM.

Other sites launched as part of the redesign project include:
www.columbiasportscouncil.com
www.columbiaconventioncenter.com

Sitka Convention & Visitors Bureau
The home page of the Sitka website, like Sitka itself, is anything but ordinary. A playful background and animated postcard rotation set the stage for a unique site, including the clickable fishing lure highlight widget (click the lure for extra info, and PS: Sitka's staff can control which animals appear at the top of the page via simpleview CMS).

The site features an unusual integration of our Video & Photo Tour widget -- anchoring the bottom of every page.

Another distinctive integration of one of our most popular site features, this Itinerary Builder has both a real-time preview in the left column of each page plus an integrated map at the top.

Solvang Conference & Visitors Bureau
A multi-purpose slider widget in the homepage header of this site redesign, allows marketers for the Danish-heritage destination in California's Santa Ynez Valley to highlight anything from walking maps to resort listings.

The "Map Explorer" feature integrates some of the best in Google Maps technology with simpleview CRM, letting visitors who are interested in a particular event or attraction easily view other listings nearby, filtering by category and radius.

Features like a simple online Group Reservations request and Suggested Itineraries make Solvang an attractive destination for group tour planners.

Tucson International Airport
Really three sites in one -- covering the Tucson International Airport, Tucson's Ryan Airfield and the Tucson Airport Authority -- this content-rich site includes information for pilots, the general public, the media, job-seekers, film crews, city planners and more.

Visit Lake Norman
The idyllic animated scene on the Lake Norman home page lets you know immediately what to expect within and around the 520 miles of shoreline at this population recreation getaway (and yes, as you scroll down the page, you do go "underwater.")

Slider widgets on the home page showcase destination highlights plus special offers.

A lot happens here, so we built a mini Calendar of Events into every page.
