Situation

The Utah Valley Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) is the official destination marketing organization for Utah Valley. The destination includes over twenty towns that offer everything from museums and festivals, to universities, outdoor adventures, and much more. While the CVB was in the process of redesigning their website with Simpleview, they decided a promotional video would be another great asset to incorporate into the website.

Solution

Simpleview partnered with Commotion Studios, a video, multimedia and event production company, located in Tucson, Arizona, to create a two minute promotional video for the Utah Valley CVB. Additionally, Simpleview's content creation services were utilized to create the script for the voiceover talent, which made the project a true collaborative effort.

Within the video, viewers discover various video clips and breathtaking imagery, paired with inviting music and a friendly voiceover to highlight all the Utah Valley has to offer. Brief descriptions about new features on the website, such as the responsive design, "Choose Your Experience", events calendar, Google Maps integration, and blog provide a quick glimpse into the many offerings of the redesigned utahvalley.com.

Results

As part of Utah Valley CVB's website redesign, the completed promotional video is included within the header of the homepage for site visitors to enjoy with just the click of a button. In addition to being featured on utahvalley.com, the CVB also used social media, press releases, and local news outlets to promote the video and website launch.
