Tucson, August 5, 2011 - Simpleview is pleased to announce the recently updated VisitAthensGA.com on the Simpleview CMS platform.

As part of their new Simpleview CMS platform, Athens now has several new modules and integrations to boost site performance. New features include a global site search box, e-newsletter sign-up, current events feed, links to Athens social media pages and a page dedicated to videos streaming from their YouTube channel.  Athens also partnered with Travelocity for all its online booking needs.

"Life Unleashed" isn't just the slogan for the Athens CVB, it's their culture and life philosophy. The site features the bold red and black color scheme from the University of Georgia, and you can still find bulldogs throughout the site, displaying their hometown pride. The homepage header rotates out with new pictures and links to different content while the featured events widget provides at-a-glance information on upcoming events all over Athens.
