This year's WebAward winners in the Travel category have been announced!

Alexandria Convention and Visitors Association and Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau received Outstanding Website awards, while Experience Grand Rapids took home the Best Travel Website award. Congratulations to all three teams!

The WebAward Competition is produced by the Web Marketing Association. After 17 years, it is the longest running annual website award competition dedicated to naming the best sites across 96 industries-including the travel industry-while encouraging excellence in website development. Each site goes head-to-head with other sites in their categories and is awarded a score of 0 to 10 within seven areas: innovation, design, content, copywriting, technology, interactivity, and ease of use. The highest score is selected Best of Industry. Of the remaining entries, the sites that earned a score of 60 or greater out of a possible 70 points granted by the judges receive the Outstanding Website award. Entries that scored above the average for their industry and 59.9 receive the Standard of Excellence award.
