Ryan George co-founded simpleview drawing on his MIS education and professional experience as an IT director. Under his leadership, simpleview has grown from a small software developer to the leading provider of technology sales and marketing solutions for DMOs, serving more clients than any competitor. Today, as leader of the company Inc. Magazine named 2008's second-fastest-growing in the travel sector, Ryan speaks to business schools and professional organizations worldwide as an expert in travel and tourism, technology and entrepreneurship.

For more than 20 years, Rich Reasons has worked with destination marketing organizations and convention bureaus to help them operate more efficiently, better communicate their value and impact to their stakeholders and communities, and be more competitive in leisure marketing and meetings sales. His extensive network of friends and influencers in travel and tourism makes him an unmatched problem solver and knowledge resource for simpleview's clients and prospects. Working at both the tactical and strategic level, Rich builds bridges and forges relationships that not only help individual destinations, but elevate the travel and meetings industries as a whole. He is a trusted advisor in destination marketing circles who has served on Convention and Visitors Bureau boards, the board of the California Tourism Industry Association and he is a longtime member of the Destination Marketing Association International Business Advisory Council. And as a member of the International Convention and Congress Association, Rich is also working hard to advance the common interests of international destination marketing organizations and convention bureaus in Africa, Asia, Australia, Canada, Europe, Mexico and Central & South America.

 
leadership_bill Bill Simpson | Chief Technology Officer

Company co-founder Bill Simpson has more than 15 years experience as an application developer, network technician and technology consultant. He created simpleview's content management solution and destination management software-simpleview CMS and simpleview CRM-and today guides research and development for new products and ongoing product improvements. An expert in software design, database administration, hosting and networking, Bill oversees simpleview's technologies with a keen eye for meeting our clients' needs and the specific demands of DMO sales and marketing.  

 
leadership_scott G. Scott Wood | Chief Operating Officer

After earning a degree in management information systems, Scott Wood learned operations hands-on at what may be the most intense management training organization in the world - the U.S. Marine Corps. From consulting for the Department of Defense, Scott brought his MIS expertise to developing web-based applications and, together with Ryan George and Bill Simpson, founded the business that would become simpleview. Today, as COO, Scott plays a critical role in shaping the company's growth and direction, overseeing all aspects of production and human resources.

Scott Meredith draws on his experience as a CPA and consultant for an accounting and advising firm to oversee all aspects of simpleview's contract negotiations and business administration. His accurate financial data and analysis allow our executive team to make the best decisions for the company and our clients. Under Scott's stewardship, simpleview has maintained a strong and stable financial position as a foundation for our rapid growth and continued industry leadership.

Greg Evans oversees development for established customers, supervising our team of account managers and working directly with clients on account strategy. His background with technologies ranging from virtual networks to data solutions gives him the rare ability to translate complex technical information into clear, understandable terms. 

   
Tim White Tim White | Vice President of Talent Development

Tim joins simpleview with over 20 years in Human Capital Management experience in such industries as hospitality, software, financial services, defense and consumer products as well as his own consulting practice. He has helped numerous organizations grow and prosper through best practices which enable productivity, profitability and service delivery. He graduated from the University of South Florida (Go Bulls!) in Tampa with a degree in Communication. Outside of work Tim is an avid sports fan, particularly baseball and has been to nearly every ballpark in the major leagues.

Kevin Bate worked as a simpleview project manager before transitioning to his current focus on new business opportunities in website development. Aided by a background in brand management, his knowledge of both sides of the development relationship makes him the ideal guide for DMOs new to simpleview products and services.

Maria DelVecchio brings a BFA in visual communications and more than 20 years of creative development, management experience and interactive expertise to simpleview. Her long history of work in destination marketing gives DelVecchio critical insights as she oversees our award-winning creative team and works closely with clients on initiatives ranging from usability assessment to design direction, content development, creative strategy and effectively translating destination brand to the interactive space.

With experience in project management, Liz Fernstrom brings critical skills to her role overseeing the transition of vital data and set-up of new processes, reporting and destination management tools. Having overseen dozens of implementations, Liz is a resident expert on simpleview CRM.

Cara Frank joined simpleview after serving as Director of Convention Services at the Greater Madison Convention and Visitors Bureau. She combines that DMO-insider knowledge with experience as an event planner and spokesperson in her current role overseeing company communications and marketing of simpleview products and services.

With a degree in hotel and restaurant administration from Washington State University, Peter Hedlund worked in hotel sales and marketing in Kansas City, St. Louis, New York, Miami and Pittsburgh prior to a 22-year engagement as VP of sales for the Greater Minneapolis CVA. Well known in the industry, he spent 5 years focused on sales for the organization's in-house-developed destination management system, iDSS.

Aviva Pearson comes to simpleview with over 20 years of experience in the Tourism industry. She has been a Destination Manager in the UK for major destinations including CEO for North Yorkshire, Director of Tourism for the English Riviera and Principal Head of Tourism and Marketing for Anglesey. Prior to joining simpleview, Aviva worked for a Tourism Technology company in the UK. With degrees in Tourism, Marketing and Hospitality, Aviva finds herself drawn to themes revolving around coastal, golf and heritage tourism, and has spoken at international conferences and events about tourism and using leading edge technology to improve the visitor economy.

As a former entrepreneur, Eric Rogers understands business from an owner's point of view. It gives him the ideal perspective for his task of overseeing marketing programs for DMO members and defining the best mix of products and services to give members more online exposure while generating revenue for DMOs.

Ben Rosamond brings a computer science degree and a decade of programming and web design to his role leading innovation on simpleview's web-based products and integrations. Before joining simpleview, Ben served as a standards conformance technician, advising the major players in networking, including Cisco and 3Com.

leadership_jason Jason Swick| Director of Search Engine Marketing

Jason began his career in the Golf Industry in 1998. As a Class A PGA Professional and graduate of the PGAPGM program he quickly understood that the internet, specifically search engine marketing, was the place to attract new customers and grow a successful business. In 2006 he developed a small online golf vacation company that served 3 southwest destinations in Arizona and Nevada. That online environment allowed him to develop and grow both his SEM and SEO skills quickly moving his business organically to the top of the search engines in less than 2 years. Jason is certified by Google in Paid Search Advertising and has extensive training in Adobe SiteCatylst and Online Media Buying.
