Tablet Sites

According to a study by the Pew Research Center, just 18 months after Apple ignited the tablet market with the iPad, more than 1 in 10 U.S. adults owned a tablet computer of some kind.

How are Tablets Used?

Research by Google's AdMob found that 77 percent of tablet owners used their desktop and laptop computers less after they got a tablet, and 28 percent said their tablets now served as their primary computers. The survey also discovered 78 percent of tablet owners use them to search for information online.

tabletOf course, since the introduction of the iPad, other companies have introduced their own tablets and e-readers feature more and more "full tablet" features every day. Yet as much as tablet devices are already changing the landscape of mobile web access, that change is a drop in the bucket compared to what analysts expect in the next five years.

While both your regular website and your mobile site will display on a tablet device, neither one is optimized for the unique user experience niche that tablets have created.

Our tablet sites combine the best of both. We incorporate a unique design and content strategy, more similar to a full desktop site than to a mobile phone site, but optimized for tablet dimensions, touchscreen gestures and the way that tablets are used - in downtime, often at night and as a true laptop device.
