Web-based systems work together to help DMOs streamline meetings leads and proposals

TUCSON November 18 — Destination management organizations (DMOs) using simpleview CRM will be able to distribute meetings leads to hotel and meeting site partners and gather responses more quickly and efficiently thanks to the system's new integration with MeetingBroker, a web-based lead management solution offered by Newmarket International.

One-click coordination.

With a single click, DMOs can distribute leads to all or select hotel properties and meeting venues.

Automatic integration.

For properties using Newmarket's Delphi — a meeting/catering sales, forecasting and reporting system used by hotels around the word — or a handful of other sales systems, this integration automatically enters lead data into the property's system.

One-click updates and notifications.

As the proposal develops or requirements change, DMOs can quickly send updated RFP info to the properties, and notify all or select properties when the meeting is awarded.

Automatic pickups. After the meeting event, once hotels enter pickup data, the integration automatically sends the information into the simpleview CRM database, associating it with the appropriate lead and reporting functions.

Strategic advantage for DMOs

"This first step in our relationship with Newmarket International creates still another strategic advantage for DMOs in more than 95+ markets that are already usingsimpleview CRM," said simpleview president, Rich Reasons. "With leads and proposal data flowing seamlessly between them and their hotel partners, this will dramatically improve their RFP response times and accuracy."

Competitive advantages of simpleview CRM help secure statewide award

simpleview

TUCSON, November 2, 2009simpleview will be honored later this week with the Comerica Bank Arizona Companies to WatchSM award, in part for the innovation represented by simpleview CRM 3.0, the company's customer relations, sales, forecasting and reporting solution tailored to destination marketing.

"By far, the most pivotal moment in the history of simpleview was the decision to develop an industry-specific CRM system for destination marketing organizations," wrote simpleview CEO Ryan George in applying for the award.

Though the company dominated the web development space for destination marketing organizations (DMOs) in 2003, simpleview saw enormous potential in a CRM database that dynamically populated key web pages, George explained. Existing CRM systems were antiquated, poor fits for DMOs, and all were client-server software rather than a web-based system, a feature that would become one of several strategic advantages to simpleview CRM.

Acting on that vision, simpleview created the first industry-specific CRM solution in 2003, partnering with the Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau, George explained. Today, the system offers animated dashboards, sophisticated forecasting and reporting and the most advanced CRM in the industry, powering destinations ranging from Tucson to Toronto to New York City.
